Meet Taylor
|
Hi! I was born and raised in Huntington Beach, CA and currently live in Dana Point with my husband and 2 dogs. I love the ocean, sunsets on PCH, reading, working out and most importantly capturing memories through a lens.
Ever since I picked up a camera in 2009 I have been making videos. Family vacations, couples, weddings, adventures, traveling, day to day life... you name it! I have most likely made a video about it. It wasn't really until I edited my own wedding video in 2022 that I thought wow... I can provide something really beautiful. My favorite thing about filming is creating that life like memory that you can look back on forever. I am so excited to meet you and I am honored to take on the role of telling YOUR story.
I pride myself on composition and aesthetics. While I can certainly get every traditional shot you may see in a video, I find that not many people have an eye for the moment within the moment. It's capturing and composing outside of the traditional shot that makes me a unique videographer. A few words I would use to describe my style: Moody, Guest POV, Authentic, Vintage, Minimalistic, Clean, Timeless.
WHY DID I START FILMING WEDDINGS?
Full transparency: I hated my wedding video. I didn’t do enough research, and I was far too lenient when it came to contracts and deadlines. Thankfully, I managed to get all the RAW footage and edit my own video—one I’m now obsessed with and rewatch often. That experience was a turning point for me. It pushed me to enter the wedding world with one mission: to ensure no bride or couple ever has to feel the disappointment I felt.
Planning a wedding is overwhelming—emotionally and financially. Finding vendors you can trust to capture one of the most important days of your life is no small task. As a former bride and now a vendor, I get it. But I also bring something unique to the table: my background in Corporate America as a Project Manager. This experience has taught me how to manage contracts, timelines, and deliverables with precision. I only take on five weddings a year because I believe every couple deserves my full attention during the weeks I’m editing their video. Your story deserves my best work, and I refuse to compromise on quality.
Here’s my biggest advice when choosing a wedding videographer:
Do your research. Ask to see full wedding videos—not just highlight reels. Social media showcases the best clips, but you want to love the entire story from start to finish.
Communicate clearly. Make sure expectations align and that you genuinely vibe with the person behind the camera.
Ask if they deliver the RAW footage. This does not apply to photography but there is no reason for me to hold your wedding memories hostage. I will deliver all RAW footage and audio files if asked
My style may not be for everyone, and that’s OK. What matters most is finding someone who resonates with you. If we work together, you can expect open communication, regular updates throughout the editing process, and a video that captures your day exactly as you imagined.
